Hundreds of digital photographs were originally taken on Palm Beach Island, near the home of artist KASHA McKee. The final scene depicts a tumultuous ocean with waves crashing against rock barriers and an ever increasing dark sky. Concrete elephants are placed as if in motion, steadfast, and fearless toward a storm. Seagulls gather to witness the procession on the safety of the sandy shore, a menacing presence and look of disapproval complete this metaphorical black and white masterpiece.
Present day —Although this is a contemporary piece of art, the artwork holds historical importance. It represents President Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2024 victories, his continuous 'promises made promises kept' agenda, public focus on immigrant citizenship journeys, and the preservation of the American spirit. The artwork’s monumental scale and refined workmanship surpass any single moment, casting it as a lasting commentary on democracy, and the principles that define the nation.
